Sauna in Spalona – something more than a sauna
Since the end of February 2026, a Finnish sauna (dry)
with a panoramic window on the forest has been in operation at Sheep with a View.
Next to it there is a wooden bale with cold water – for cooling down after sauna.
Because real sauning is a rhythm: heat and cold.
What is a Finnish (dry) sauna?
A Finnish sauna is a traditional wooden bath with a temperature of 80-100°C
and low humidity (5-15%).
The heat source is a furnace with heated stones. Pouring water over them gives a short wave of intense, pleasant heat.
